The Good Music Club has been going strong for over the past year and have taken a simple idea and turned it into something very special. Curator Laurie Gallardo and the rest of the talented GMC crew have taken their love of local music and created a platform for some of Austin's hottest up and coming bands to be showcased. The series doesn't stick to one genre and happily clusters artists together on tapings that might not otherwise play together with fantastic results.
Tonight they host their first annual holiday party that coincides with the release of their very first compilation CD featuring performances by Politics, Quiet Company, The Couch, The Sour Notes and more. The show tonight will feature a listening party as well as a performance by Jack Wilson. There is cover and the CD is only $10.
