Show Spotlight: L.A.X presents The "A" EP Release at The Parish Tonight (5/20)

Are you ready for the intergalactic dance party liftoff? Tonight (May 20th) the electro, dance sensation, L.A.X. is debuting the highly awaited second phase of their trilogy of albums, and you're invited to partake in the craziness that is about to ensue.

The "A" EP has been a long time coming for the band after enduring an eighteen month mixtape production in which the recording process took place over four sessions at three studio's with two different producers. The twelve songs, collectively captured at WW4 Studios, Infinity Studios and The Diamond Factory, incorporate elements of experimental electronic dance-pop music with lyrical bluntness and street-smart demeanor. Originally a synth backed vocal duo, L.A.X. has grown to a seven-piece live band noise machine featuring three unique vocalists. Since then, the band has stirred Austin's dance culture from debaucherous house parties and the club scene to the national stage at the ACL Festival in 2009.

Joining L.A.X. on the stage will be DJ Orion, Missions, and Fresh Millions. The first 250 fans to purchase the album at the show will be provided with download cards for a number of exclusive L.A.X. remixes - only available digitally.
