A Benefit For Max Moses :: 5.10.09

On Sunday May 10th, Antone's will host a very special event benefiting 9-year old Max Moses, who contracted Leukemia in January. You might recognize Max as the adorable Dell Children's Hospital's new poster child, with ads all over town including prominent full-page advertisements in the Austin Chronicle. Max's story is a true testament to strength and hope, and he is someone we could all learn a little something from.

A host of incredible musicians from Austin and beyond are performing at the benefit, and there will be a silent auction as well. The auction will continue through the night, with amazing items such as ACL passes, massages, handmade vintage clothes, professional haircuts, and much more.

Bands performing include Austin acts The Calm Blue Sea, Exit, Johnny Goudie, Shane Bartell, John Pointer, Topaz, Uncle Bruno, The Jolly Garogers and from Fort Worth, Chatterton.
All proceeds from the show go to benefit Max's cause.
