The final day breakdown. I hopefully will be able to make it to all of these but after a weekend of long days and after parties every night I may choose to sleep in. But if I have the stamina to keep up the schedule this is what stages I will be at....
1:30 - 2:30
The Boxer is the band latest and one of the most acclaimed albums released this year. I am late to the band, sorry. But if there was ever a chance to make it up...
2:30 - 3:30
Adam Green feat. Ben Kweller - Kokomo (Beach Boys)
Last years set was cut short by a really bad nose bleed. This year we can hopefully get through and entire set without similar results. That and he's an old favorite.
3:30 - 4:30
MP3: Common f. Lily Allen - Drivin’ Me Wild
One of hip hops very, very few good live performers and coming of the release of his most successful releases to date. Finding Forever is a great album and I can't wait to see him perform tracks from it. I will be at Zilker in time for this for sure.
4:30 - 5:30
I Still Remember
You know I'm going to this one.
5:30 - 6:30
Little Boxes ( from my favorite show Weeds!)
She sounds pretty but make me kind of sleepy. But I love her music and wouldn't be anywhere else at the time!
6:30 - 7:00
I Am Trying To Break Your Heart
For no other reason but the fact that I work with someone that never misses an opportunity to preach the word of Wilco.
7:45 - 8:30
Ghostland Observatory~Sad Sad City
If you read this regularly I need not explain, this one of the main selling point of going to ACL this year. I follow them around like they are Phish.
Bob Dylan & His Band
Bob Dylan & Jack White - Ball and Biscuit (Live).mp3
For a chance to see a living legend. It's BOB DYLAN!
And the after party...
I will take in my last live performances of the weekend at Stubbs with Ghostland Observatory (twice in one night!) and the Cold War Kids.
[Tickets] Get them while they last!
