Current Listening - Saul Williams / The Inevitable Rise of Niggy Tardust

Saul Williams decided to hook up with tour mate Trent Reznor of NIN to produce his latest effort and then went all Radiohead on us giving the fans the options to pay 5 bucks for the album or nothing at all. Of course this got all the press but what has been slightly over looked is the music. Saul Williams finds his voice as a singer on this release. Straying away from the "rap" that has been heavy on his last two releases. Some might argue that the voice he found was Reznor's as there are times on the album that you might not be able to distinguish the two. He even does and amazing cover of U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" that is one of my favorite tracks on the album and I hate U2....
