More SXSW, LCD, and more

All kinds of stuff going on, I am finding it's a lot easier to be a blogger in 2007, than it was in 2006. Hopefully the trend continues.
Austinist really stepped it up this morning and delivered the most comprehensive SXSW list I have seen so far. Officials are holding the list back for now, but I would say this is pretty damn close. [Read the list now]

On the music side, The Good, The Bad and The Queen are streaming their entire album on MySpace. So you can decide for yourself how you feel about the whole album. To go along with that I have a really cool interview (not mine) with the band as well as a track by track analysis of the album. You can read that on my MySpace page in the blog section. Worth checking out. [Ultra8201 on Myspace]

LCD Soundsystem will be returning with a new album "Sound of Silver" on March 20th. A little late for SXSW but in time for Coachella? Expect the lead single to be a track called "North American Scum". Which you can listen to know on where? Duh, MySpace. Here is the full tracklisting:

LCD Soundsystem, “Sound of Silver”

1. Get Innocuous
2. Time to Get Away
3. North American Scum
4. Someone Great
5. All My Friends
6. Us v. Them
7. Watch the Tapes
8. Sound of Silver
9. New York I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down

The lovely JAX from Rock Insider is holding a really cool contest, jump over to her site to check it out. There's a Beck video in it if you do.
