Hard-Fi @ Stubbs

So last night I went to see a band Hard-Fi at Stubbs BBQ. It was a fun night that started off with shrimp tacos at Hula Hut with good friends from San Antonio. I didn't really know too much about this band before the show so I felt really dumb when I checked them out online and found out they had a song on the radio that I really like and have been trying to figure out who's song it was for over a month. But this was also a bonus and made me more excited to see them perform. They are a great live band and did a really cool cover of The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army"

They played a what I felt was a fairly short set but they played the song I like, which by the way is called "Cash Machine" and is about being broke and getting a girl you dont want to be with pregnant of all things. They played a few other songs I liked and we hung out for a while after. I've got a head cold so I only had one Jack and Coke to wash down my Tylenol Cold pills. A pretty fun night to say the least. I feel like shit and have to work tonight, but tomorrow I'm going to San Antonio to see the Spurs play the Timberwolves.

See ya later

I'm Back
