Better Oblivion Community Center, The new band from Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers, came out of nowhere a few weeks ago and released an entire album, and now we are treated to a video for the lead single "Dylan Thomas."
As if the collaboration between the two wasn't enough they teamed up with Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast who directed the video. When asked about the clip Zauner states: "Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst are two of my favorite songwriters and lyricists of our time, so it was an honor to get to work with them on the visuals for their new project together. As always I worked with Adam Kolodny, my DP and creative collaborator to bring this cross between an Eyes Wide Shut LA mansion party and the Great Northern Hotel to life."
The band has also announced several tour dates over the next three months including two stops in Texas with shows on April 9th in Austin at Mohawk and April 10th in Dallas at Trees. [Tickets]
