Foo Fighters Set to Perform at Austin City Limits this Friday (11/7)

Foo Fighters will return to Austin this Friday to tape an episode of Austin City Limits to promote their latest album Sonic Highways. In addition to the taping there will be a special screening of the Austin episode of Dave Grohl's documentary series of the same name. The band wanted to do something different for their latest release so they set out to record and document the history behind several cities known for their rich musical history. In addition to Austin the band visited Chicago, Nashville, Washington DC, Los Angeles and Seattle. The Austin episode premieres on Friday on HBO. You can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the taping by following the link below.

Twin Shadow Announces Eclipse Tour, Signs to Warner Bros Records

George Lewis Jr. announced today:

When I last wrote, I shared the news that we had to postpone our tour. With a huge sigh of relief I can finally reveal a few more details about what is happening in the Twin Shadow camp and also share new tour dates with you.

Towards the end of the recording of the third Twin Shadow album I came into a strong feeling, a place of creative change from which I'd like to give you an uncompromised experience at every turn. In order to push in the right direction I had to put the brakes on the tour, the planned album release, and reconsider where Twin Shadow was headed. With a bit of perspective I came to realize that I was going to need help to pull off the vision for this next album.

I'm excited to announce that I've found a group of like minded people at Warner Bros. Records to help me accomplish this goal. In the interest of progress and adventure I look forward to the new relationship (and hopefully a coffee with Prince).

The new Twin Shadow album will be released next year and there will be new music coming soon.
